Our Mission: With God’s help we will proclaim the good news and live according to the example of Christ. We will surround one another with a community of love and forgiveness, that we may grow in our service to others. We will pray for one another, that we may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life.

Meeting Times

Mt Carmel UMC meets for Sunday School on Sundays at 8:30 AM, with morning worship following at 9:30 AM (Nursery available). Don't worry, we have many other opportunities planned throughout each month so if you can't make it on Sundays, we would still love to see you at our other functions. Calling All Youth

Don't miss out on Mt Carmel and Briensburg's Parish Youth Group.

KIDS IN DISCIPLESHIP meets each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:30 for supper, Bible Study, and youth choir at the Family Life Center in Briensburg.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES will begin Jan. 12. Contact the pastor at 270-527-8758 or Pastor@Briensburg-MtCarmel.org for more info.

CLUSTER YOUTH PROGRAM

January 9th--- Children and youth worship at Briensburg Methodist from 2:00-4:00
Monday, January 10th--Work night at the New to You! Let's support this wonderful outreach of our churches. Have you seen the back room lately??? They are working like crazy, and they need all the help they can get! Stop by and help from 6-8 that evening. They make everything we do and so much more possible!
January 23rd--Bowling at Corvette Lanes in Murray--We will leave from Benton First's parking lot at 2:00 if you want to carpool!
Saturday, February 5th--Youth decorating and preparing for Valentine's Day Luncheon at Pleasant Grove at 10:30 am. We'll need lots of cooks and dish washers!
Sunday, February 6th--Youth (middle and high school) working Valentine's Day luncheon at Pleasant Grove from 12:30-2:30. Invite all your church members to come eat with us on the 6th! This is our only fund raiser for the year, and we always appreciate the wonderful turnout!
February 27th--Skating at Benton Skating Rink from 2:00-4:00. Children and Youth will both attend.

CHRISTIAN ED STEERING COMMITTEE
Meeting Wed. Jan 5 at 6 p.m. at Family Life Center in Briensburg.

We are making upcoming plans for activities right now and would like to know what you, the youth, would like to do. We have at least one activity planned for each month. Check out our Youth Activities page for more information on what is going on at Mt Carmel and also in the County Wide Youth Group.
